What is the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund is the Thornhill Parent-Faculty Club’s (PFC) first and most significant fundraising effort of the school year with a goal of $265,000. Your contribution to the Annual Fund allows the PFC to bridge funding gaps, supporting programs and resources such as technology, three teaching assistants, PE, library, gardening, teacher and staff stipends, and more. The success of the Annual Fund is a collective effort that helps bring the vision and mission of our school to life!

Our mission is to raise money to support these daily educational experiences that would otherwise not exist at our school.

Your support is critical in providing:

  • Librarian 
  • PE Coach
  • Gardening Instruction
  • Three Teaching Assistants
  • Teacher & Staff Supply Stipend
  • And much more!

2026-2027 Annual Fund Drive Update:

After tallying all of the generous contributions and incredible company matches, we are thrilled to hsare that over the month of September, we raised $212,195 with 71% family participation! We are so grateful to our Thornhill community. When we come together, we ensure that every student benefits from the full Thornhill experience.

Although the Annual Fund has come to an end, it’s not too late—we accept tax deductible contributions all year round! We would still love to see 100% of our families participate at any level. Your contribution will always go directly to the classroom and is critical in maintaining ALL the weekly experiences the PFC funds for our students. It’s also never too late to submit a company match by the end of the calendar year.

Easy Ways to Donate

We are aiming for 100% participation and accept donations all year round with installment options.

Every student benefits immediately from the generosity of family contributions. We ask each family to consider making a gift that is meaningful for your circumstances. While the suggested donation is $1,100 per student, what matters most is participation. A gift of any amount makes a lasting impact on the student experience at Thornhill. Our shared goal is 100% participation from Thunderbird families, with each family contributing in a way that feels right for them. Together, every contribution — large or small — helps ensure that all of our students thrive.

Company Matching: Your contribution to the Annual Fund might be eligible for a company match, doubling your impact! To request a match, submit your receipt to your employer’s matching online gift portal or check with your HR department.
