We love our parent volunteers!

OUSD policy requires parents who are volunteering with kids in a non-supervised setting (i.e., driving children to/from field trips, field trip chaperone, small group mentor/tutor) to have a green clearance badge, issued by Oakland EdFund. This badge indicates the volunteer has completed TB and fingerprint clearance, and has signed a liability waiver. 

Please visit the Oakland Public Education Fund website for additional instructions on how to register for your volunteer clearance. ​We highly encourage you to start now, as this process can take a few weeks!
